Riaz Khan cornered glory by emerging champion in the BGC Hole-in-one Tournament which was conducted by Bhubaneswar Golf Club at Infocity course in Bhubaneswar on March 14 and 15.
In the 0 to 18 handicap category, Satya Jyoti Mohanty finished runner-up. Ranjit Singh won top prize for best gross. He went on to bag a double by claiming the award for the longest drive.
Around 70 golfers vied for honours in the two-day tournament, where the closest-to-the-pin trophy went to Srimoy Kar.
In the 19 to 24 handicap category, Shailendra Upadhyaya and Dibyalok Patnaik emerged winner and runner-up respectively. The ladies title was secured by Harshdeep Kaur, ahead of runner-up Rashmi Ray.
Gopinath Sarangi emerged champion among veterans, while Ramesh Ray finished runner-up.
